KH153 - Part-Time Nanny- NYC bei British American Household Staffing

A family of four in the Flatiron/Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan is looking for a reliable, loving, and energetic caregiver to join their family and help take care of their 5-year-old-son and 11-year-old daughter. The schedule will be a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week with the opportunity for more hours based on the candidate's availability and willingness to help with household management and light housekeeping. Strong preference for a candidate who is open to a 7am start one day a week, and occasionally as needed.

• Full child-care of school-aged children
• Team-player who is able communicate clearly and openly with working but involved parents
• Light housekeeping and family assisting (laundry, dishes, making beds, tidying up, errands) while not supervising children

• Experience with early elementary age children
• Reliable, consistent, safety-minded, and organized
• Creative, playful, active, and engaged disposition
• Excited to explore and be active with a school aged child (playgrounds, playdates, classes, activities, etc.) 
• Willing and able to actively engage in play

Preferred but not required:

• Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to swim
• Willing to cook
• Open to do weekday live-in during school vacations/summers at a country residence (separate bedroom and bathroom provided)

• Professional nannying experience with early elementary children
• Must be familiar with sturdy parenting/Dr. Becky style of boundary-setting
• Non- smoker
• Legal to work in the US

$35-40 per hour plus standard benefits
