Job Summary:
The Plumbing Manager of Internal Operations is responsible for supporting the strategic direction and daily operations of Strada’s internal support teams and departments that serve the Residential New Construction Field team, as well as certain aspects of the B2C Service teams. This role involves overseeing administrative functions, driving process improvement, and ensuring that internal customers in the field receive timely and complete support. The Manager will partner with department leadership to develop standard operating procedures, improve operational efficiency, and implement reporting and accountability metrics.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise administrative support staff (coordinators and other internal team members).
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Oversee completion of employee performance reviews.
• Enforce company policies and recommend training or disciplinary action as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between internal support teams and field leaders to ensure resources are aligned with operational needs.
• Meet regularly with Regional Managers and Sales Teams to address support needs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with Finance to monitor productivity, expenses, and profitability.
• Monitor coordinator productivity and provide feedback and coaching.
• Collaborate with the VP of Plumbing and IT to improve internal processes.
• Travel regularly to area locations to monitor support services and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Communicate effectively between upper management and employees.
• Participate in business strategy development and execution with other company leaders.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience managing performance and leading teams in a branch-based environment.
• Ability to manage second- and third-level managers and influence frontline performance.
• Strong understanding of business process streamlining and operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong internal consulting skills and ability to influence without direct authority.

Education and Experience:

• Experience leading administrative or internal operations teams, preferably in a residential construction or service-related environment.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
• Business or operational leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
