National Community Renaissance (CORE) is seeking a Finance / Contracts Manager to join our Accounting team. About the Job:
The Finance/Contracts Manager reports to the CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for all financial planning and analysis around potential acquisitions working closely with management staff in development, construction, and property management.
- Manage the monthly close meetings with Corporate department heads actual vs budget reviews.
- Manage the Company's vendor management relations, contracts and database, identifying potential vendors for master agreements, working closely with general counsel, property management, and capital projects management teams.
- Supervise the financial and vendor management analysts.
- Coordinate staff training including software, hardware and accounting related as applicable.
- Prepare and maintain the quarterly developer fee schedule/accruals. Primary liaison with 3rd party CPA Accountants and year end support.
- Responsible for all financial planning and analysis around potential acquisitions working closely with management staff in development, construction, and property management.
- Identify portfolio wide opportunities for prospective refinancing.
- Working closely with 3rd party lenders managing/negotiating the terms of lines of credit and corporate debt borrowing agreements and submit reporting and certification requirements on a timely basis.
- Ensure timely payment of interest and/or principal on lines of credits and corporate debt borrowing.
- Manage weekly cash flow.
- Manage quarterly sources/uses meeting/schedules working closely with development and construction groups.
- Corporate credit card administrator.
- Manage corporate bank accounts.
- Ensure that all corporate transactions are properly recorded according to current policies and procedures.
- Review corporate financials and bank reconciliations.
- Assist report preparation for board meeting presentation.
- Assist corporate controller with quarterly, annual PBC requests.
- Oversee cash control for corporate entities including reviewing monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts.
- Perform break even analysis.
- Adhoc/special projects as needed.
- Must attend Company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which, from time to time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home.
- Must adhere to the required work schedule established by the company to promote efficient operations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The Finance/Contracts Manager should have the following minimal skills:
- Strong Excel knowledge.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Maintain work pace appropriate to given workload.
- Relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions.
- Yardi Voyager experience a plus.
- Team player.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
- 5 years of experience in finance/accounting.
- 2 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
- Vendor/contract management experience.
- Real estate accounting background.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Operate computer and office Equipment.
- Work is primarily sedentary in nature.

- Exempt
PAY
- $110,000 - $135,000/yr
