  • Drive the design, implementation, and testing of ITGCs for new or changing systems, supporting change management initiatives to embed effective controls into business processes and sustain compliance post-implementation.

  • Evaluate and analyze control deficiencies, perform root cause assessments, and work collaboratively with control owners to develop and track timely, sustainable remediation plans.

  • Coordinate and manage external audit activities, serving as a key point of contact during walkthroughs, testing discussions, and remediation follow-up to ensure successful audit outcomes.

  • Collaborate across business, IT, and compliance teams to monitor the status of control remediation, proactively addressing risks and ensuring consistent adherence to SOX requirements.

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance control design, and leverage automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the IT SOX framework.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the compliance and IT risk functions.
