Hourly Pay: $23 - $25

Location: 77 Trails End Road, Eureka, Montana 59917

As a Shift Lead, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support our behavioral health mentors. Every day you will participate and guide staff in facilitating experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis, you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens and staff.

Responsibilities

The Shift Lead is a core member of the Treatment Team. The mission of the Shift Lead is to ensure safety through adherence to all Policies and Procedures, and to support students in all aspects of daily life, ensuring their needs are met. The Shift Lead is responsible for aligning with the Shift Managers in establishing and maintaining a positive staff culture at Chrysalis. This position will be expected to develop their shift team to run their shift smoothly.

  • Ensure Student safety at all times.
  • Achieve alignment with Shift Managers, Program Director, and Executive Director on initiatives and goals for the Residential Program.
  • Integrate Chrysalis culture, norms, and sustainable systems and processes for the long-haul.
  • Facilitates the team to find practical solutions to problems.
  • Encourages our staff to provide consistency to our students.
  • Implement and facilitate State required trainings.
  • Collaborate with various work groups.

Qualifications

  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
  • Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training 
  • Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
  • Ability to apply provided training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to program or daily adjustments 
  • Ability to develop staff, lead a team and effectively demonstrate management duties
