Environmental & Sustainable Operations Coordinator bei Sonoco

What you'll be doing:  

• Manage process for completing all compliance documentation for environmental standards for plants in TFP, Flexibles and Thermoforming, key liaison to plant environmental and safety coordinators
• Track and ensure all permitting for plants is done on needed cadence, by state, local, federal requirements including air, emissions, waste
• Lead process for certifications for ISO 45001 and 14001 across plant network.  Coordinate certifications, dates, requirements for updates to certify all plants to standard. Manage ongoing annual requirements to maintain certifications
• Manage company document control for all items related to Environmental and edits to ensure alignment with standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with updates to portals and reports to compile information for ESG, environmental and safety reporting
• Maintain portals/websites for certificate and license compliance
• Manage environmental compliance process for Spartanburg water remediation and other projects as needed  
• Manage Sedex/SMETA processes and audits, maintain certificates and database updates, self surveys
• Manage Ecovadis process and compliance, maintain database and updates
• Leads and supports environmental and internal audits, as requested 
• Support customer requests as needed as back up to customer compliance engineer
• Support other division initiatives for environmental compliance as required 

This is an onsite position located out of our Charlotte, NC (Uptown Area) Office
