About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Columbine Commons Health and Rehab, you will:
Direct, assign, and oversee the housekeeping and laundry staff; assume housekeeping duties when needed; inspect completed work to ensure quality.
Train new employees in cleaning techniques, enforce infection control policies, and ensure staff follow procedures and use PPE properly.
Perform cleaning tasks for resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; replenish supplies in janitorial and linen closets; handle infectious waste safely.
Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and assist with supply inventory and ordering.
Help with laundry tasks or serve food trays in the dining room as needed.
What We're Looking For
Experience and Education:
Ability to supervise, coach, and schedule the staff
1+ years of experience in housekeeping
1+ years of management or team lead experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one or group settings.
Ability to do basic mathematical skills.
Attributes:
Strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated
Positive attitude.
Passionate about helping others.
Ability to multi-task.
