MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux Engineer to support our current NCIS contract out of Quantico, VA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Linux Engineer will maintain, update, and secure existing Linux systems on both classified and unclassified networks in support of Cyber investigations and operations.Candidates will be responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and securing Linux systems to ensure optimum performance with minimal downtime. Candidates may also be asked for creative contributions to improve existing processes and for surge support for various initiatives in areas related to their area of expertiseTravel may be required to support operations.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.X, 8.X, 9.X with a strong command-line interface (CLI) skillset (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).Experience securing Linux systems with DISA STIG requirements.Experience with Red Hat based tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.Familiarity with at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, bash, etcExperience with virtualization tools (Vmware, KVM, Proxmox)Preferred Requirements: Experience with monitoring solutions such as Icinga2 or Nagios Experience and / or willingness to learn DevOps and Automation.Familiarity with the DIACAP and/or RMF accreditation processes, specifically with configuring Linux systems in compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).Experience with maintaining a secure, standard OS build process.Experience installing and managing PostgreSQL.Security Clearance Required:Must have an active Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI.Physical Requirements:Sedentary Work Jetzt bewerben
