FTI is seeking a Field Operations Team Lead, EPMS. The role will be remote but will need to travel to customer sites. The team lead will oversee the Field EPMS engineers as well as collaborate with customers, sales representatives, team members and third-party partners to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment for EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System) systems in dynamic environments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on control systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Five (5) years experience with EPMS solutions and two (2) years serving in a team lead or manager role.
- Proficiency in Schneider Electric power monitoring software and hardware, including EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert and PowerLogic meters.
 - Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and components.
 - Familiarity with network communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, etc.).
 - Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools.
 - Understanding of power quality analysis and energy management principles.
 - Ability to design and implement custom monitoring solutions.
 - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting electrical systems.
 - Strong and confident management style with solid written and verbal skills.
 - Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 - Act independently, while exercising good judgment.
 - Build relationships and teams and maintain useful interaction with all involved parties.
 
Travel: 50%
Work schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
KEY RESONSIBILITIES:
- Direct management responsibility of Field EPMS Engineers
 - Oversight of field operations between FTI and our customers to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the operational expectations for solution implementation.
 - The EPMS Manager is expected to spend 25+% of their time in the field working with engineers, technicians, customers, vendors, and sales personnel.
 - Conduct safety meetings, perform site safety audits, complete incident reviews, and ensure the team is in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
 - Work closely with the customer and internal resources to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed for customers
 - Act as a primary contact for FTI’s customers. including developing open business relationships through regular communications.
 - Develop and coordinate training and qualification for the Field EPMS Engineering team.
 - Ensure employees are familiar with all FTI policies.
 - Mentor employees to grow and develop them and support their personal career goals.
 - Ensure each employee is complying with all administration processes and field reporting requirements.
 - Actively engage in the sales process and ensure optimal participation.
 - Drive KPIs to maximize goals and then use the KPIs to identify weaknesses and make corrections in order to enhance delivery.
 - Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
