Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace defective parts and components as necessary to maintain equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff, including training and best practices.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Equipment Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in maintaining and repairing various manufacturing machinery and material handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with battery and propane material handling equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V, Allen Bradley PLCs, and 4-20mA sensors.
• Familiarity with conveyor systems and their maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or similar field.
