This position is responsible for all aspects of an employer’s file integration experience at HSA Bank, including testing of enrollment, funding, claims, and single sign-on (SSO) connections. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in file specifications and integration protocols, become a subject matter expert in internal processes, and effectively communicate complex technical topics to external stakeholders including clients and vendors. Success in this role is measured by implementation health, client satisfaction, and timely, accurate execution of integration deliverables. This is a remote-only position with no travel to client sites required.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for all aspects of an employer’s file integration experience at HSA Bank, including testing of enrollment, funding, claims, and single sign-on (SSO) connections. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in file specifications and integration protocols, become a subject matter expert in internal processes, and effectively communicate complex technical topics to external stakeholders including clients and vendors. Success in this role is measured by implementation health, client satisfaction, and timely, accurate execution of integration deliverables. What you will do

  • Lead testing and validation of enrollment, funding, claims, and single sign-on (SSO) files for employer

    integrations.

  • Become a subject matter expert in file integration processes and internal systems.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for clients and vendors.

  • Conduct training sessions and provide consultative support throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, escalating as needed.

  • Maintain deep understanding of internal workflows to support accurate and efficient implementation.

  • Document and continuously improve integration procedures, tools, and training materials.

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of integration deliverables across assigned implementations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and project tracking across multiple concurrent implementations.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution


Skills and Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience in file testing, data integration, or technical onboarding required.

  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related

    field preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and validating file specifications (e.g., ANSI X12, XML, CSV

    formats).

  • Strong ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with SFTP setup, claims file formats, and SSO protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth) preferred.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data validation tools.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills; experience creating SOPs or training materials a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000USD to $64,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
