About the Employer

The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is a public agency that provides academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for school districts. NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students.  NCOE's Early Childhood Services program is a leader in inclusive classroom structures.

Required Documents

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the general direction of the Napa County Office of Education; the Site Supervisor will be responsible for the following: Leadership and Supervision • Supervise and support a team of Classroom Leaders (after school staff in the COOL School program) and AmeriCorps members. • Provide observations and coaching in instructional and behavioral management support and modeling. Provide guidance on lesson planning and activity implementation. • Facilitate on-site trainings and lead weekly staff meetings. • Be responsible for monitoring school site safety and managing student behavior, including parent conversations. Program Management and Compliance • Manage day-to-day operations of all aspects of the program. • Maintain all manual and electronic files and/or records. • Ensure all data and evaluation collection and tracking process requirements are met per funding and district requirements (ASES, ELOP, USDA, and AmeriCorps). • Monitor and track the site's program budget. • Timesheets will be completed by the Program Coordinator(s). Communication and Collaboration • Develop and maintain a high level of communication and positive relationships with the principal, teachers, office staff, cafeteria staff, custodians, and all NCOE staff. • Principal meetings will be supported by the Program Coordinator(s). • Act as a liaison between the afterschool program, school day staff, AmeriCorps Mentoring program, and community organizations. • Establish and maintain community partnerships and relationships; along with planning and implementing family events and field trips. • Meet regularly with the Site Supervisor team to make future plans, assess the program, and collaborate. • Attend trainings and meetings, as required. Requirements / Qualifications

GENERAL INFORMATION: Start date 1/5/2026 The Site Supervisor will be employed to oversee Expanded Learning programs and will report to the Expanded Learning Assistant Director. The Expanded Learning Programs operate: COOL School After School and Intersession Programming (Spring Break and COOL Summer Camp) in 7 elementary school s(Tk – 6th grade) in Santa Rosa. Programs are designed to improve students’ academic performance and connection to school and the greater community, as well as to strengthen students’ extracurricular and social skills. The Site Supervisor will supervisor and support the full program (staff, students, volunteers, etc.) on a single Santa Rosa school site campus. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BA degree preferred Experience: Experience working with youth in school or community-based settings and experience leading a team required. Ability to read and write in Spanish is a plus.
