About the position
The Assistant Showroom Manager plays a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of the showroom. The position supports the Showroom Manager in overseeing daily preparation and consultations, providing exceptional client experience, and managing the showroom team, specialising in training outcomes. Our beautiful Houston showroom is located in Arrive River Oaks, 2800 Kirby Drive.
The required roster for the role is as follows -
- Tuesday 9-5pm
- Wednesday 9-5pm
- Thursday 9-5pm
- Friday 9-5pm
- Saturday 8-4pm
Key Responsibilities include
- Sales Consultations - Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client needs, provide tailored jewellery recommendations, and guide them through customisation options. Prepare independent custom quotes and consistently meet individual sales and appointment targets.
- Client Experience & Brand Representation - Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring clear communication and building trust at every touchpoint. Uphold Cullen Jewellery’s commitment to ethical and sustainable practices, and contribute to outstanding showroom client experience KPIs.
- Showroom Operations - Oversee daily showroom readiness, including visual merchandising, inventory management, packaging, and administrative duties. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Team Support & Leadership - Assist the Showroom Manager in leading, training, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service. Support onboarding and development of new staff, prepare weekly sales meetings, and foster team engagement through collaboration and activities.

- Passion for premium jewellery and a deep understanding of ethical and sustainable practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach and a team-player approach.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment - this involves flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of showroom presentation.
- Ability to work late nights and weekends as required.
- The right to work in the USA.
