The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Project Administrator Level III position for the Department of Psychotic Disorders, This is a full-time position as the Associate Director of the Columbia Schizophrenia Research Center (CSRC) that will report directly to the Director of the CSRC to assist in the implementation, coordination, and execution of multiple study protocols in schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Manage hiring and onboarding for new employees
- Manage daily supervision of CSRC staff
Study Implementation and Upkeep:
- Manage study start up including protocol and procedure training, portal/platform access, receipt and organization of supplies, and study initiation meetings
- Facilitate institutional start up process and act as liaison with NYSPI Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and other NYSPI departments (e.g. pharmacy, inpatient unit, MRI unit)
- Oversee recruitment efforts, attend recruitment meetings, and act as liaison with internal and external clinics
- Oversee daily and weekly subject schedules and supervise data collection instrument and database development, timely database
Minimum Qualifications:
- A BA or equivalent degree.
- At least (3) years of experience in the coordination of clinical/research trials under GCP conditions, including at least (6) months of experience managing a team.
- At least (6) months experience working with individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders.
- At least (6) months experience serving as a Research Coordinator or Protocol Monitor for both industry-sponsored and federally funded studies.
- Ability to commit to a (3)-year project term.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least (6) months experience using REDCap for data management.
- At least (6) months experience participating in FDA reviews and audits.
- At least (6) months experience in protocol development and writing
