The Program Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating activities associated with a specific program or group of programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. The Program Coordinator II will also provide proposal support with technical input and development of relevant program experience/past performance.
This is an on-site position assigned to the Lackland AirForce Base in Texas. A thorough government background check will be required.
About The Project
This position will support research work for the AURORA Project at Lackland AFB. This project involves advanced simulation and human factors analysis for oxygen titration systems.
Compensation: $100,000
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of medical or operational logistics experience preferred.
- Experience with medical simulation preferred.
- Healthcare background and knowledge of military combat casualty care preferred.
- BS/BA in Business, Healthcare/Sciences, Human Services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in program coordination on research programs to include clinical trials, experience with federally funded contracts or grants desired
- 2-3 years’ experience in staff management
- 2-3 years of project analysis, reporting, and budget planning in complex organization-level initiatives; preferably in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrate competence in written and oral communication
- Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and execute realistic simulations of casualty care scenarios with multiple patients and providers with support from clinical partners.
- Manage and organize data collection from a variety of sensors in field training environments.
- Maintain and update technical reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- May require irregular hours to support data collections in military field environments.
- Liaison with large teams to include program staff at various Military Treatment Facilities
- Accountable for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and program staff
- Coordinate with Principal Investigators and Program Managers in maintaining several program management tools that support stakeholder communications, quality management, and schedule and performance monitoring
- Responsible for the organization, prioritization, and coordination of a moderate to high volume of complex work in support of the program
- Work in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff to help to implement the program’s objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process
