How you’ll contribute  
Wilson Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Marketing to lead strategic communication initiatives that strengthen our brand, engage our community, and highlight the exceptional care our teams provide. This leader will drive marketing strategy, digital engagement, and community outreach to elevate the hospital’s presence and mission of making communities healthier.

  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

What we’re looking for  
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Additional requirements include: 

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
