Academic Health Plans (AHP) is a leader in the student health care industry. The Data Integration Analyst position provides you the opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in data integrations and ETL processing. Primary responsibilities include execution and monitoring of data flow processes between clients, carriers, third-party administrators, and service providers to support the organization’s needs. Additional activities include data analysis / troubleshooting and testing integrations for new clients. This role includes increasing involvement with AWS storage services such as EFS, S3, and RDS. Additional growth opportunities into our new AWS-based platform exist based on candidate’s skills and interests. This position may have access to sensitive information such as PII and/or PHI. As such, all Academic HealthPlans employees sign and adhere to AHP’s Information Security Handbook covering information security policies and procedures.
Your Impact
- Execution and monitoring of mission critical ETL processes
- Perform analysis on complex data from various sources and interpret results to determine accuracy of production records
- Independently analyze data files for errors in format, structure, data element schema, create solutions for correction processing and autonomously test and implement the solution meeting the real-time needs of the business
- Perform above tasks with minimal supervision
- Participate in ETL system and integration testing
- Work with AHP’s new AWS based platform using state of the art market technologies
- Become an expert in student health care data processing workflows and best practices
- Assist the IT team with the shared responsibility of daily support requests
Successful Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business IT Management, or a related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years' experience in a similar position
- Experience with T-SQL or other query languages
- An understanding of relation database design or data modeling principles a plus
- Data analysis and reporting experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical resources
