POSITION: CMI2 ILLUME Grant Administrator
LOCATION: Braxton County High School
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator
Evaluation: Evaluations conducted as defined in West Virginia Board of Education Policy 5310 and BCBOE Policy 3250.
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Upon Board approval
SALARY: $4,000 Stipend
EFFECTIVE EMPLOYMENT DATE: Upon Board Approval

CERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current working full-time employee at job site
- Experience in grant administration or project management preferred
- Familiarity with educational programs and funding structures preferred
- Valid teaching certificate license pursuant to WV Code §18A-3-2.
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate.
- Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.

Job Summary:
The Grant Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, compliance, and reporting requirements associated with the CMI2 ILLUME Grant.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed drugs while in the workplace. Alcohol and controlled substance which affects employee productivity, safety or judgment in the workplace will not be tolerated. Staff members serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating grant activities and ensuring alignment with grant objectives
- Monitoring expenditures and maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing and submitting required reports and documentation
- Communicating with stakeholders and grant partners
- Ensuring compliance with all grant guidelines and timelines
- Must be able to work well with others, focus on solving conflict;
- Maintaining confidentiality;
- Demonstrate ability to successfully work with and teach adolescent students.
- Ability to organize and supervise.
- Have good communication with students, faculty and parents.
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all Board policies and procedures.
- Instill in students the belief and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
- Maintains positive role model for students.
- Supports mission of school district.
- Adheres to Employee Code of Conduct as outlined in Braxton County School’s Board of Education/West Virginia Board of Education Policy.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintains a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members.
- Uses effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.
- Demonstrates behavior which reflects established professional responsibilities (i.e., attendance, punctuality, and verbal/nonverbal communication.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The duties of this job require the employee to drive to and from various schools throughout Braxton County. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff members.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Most commonly, the educational setting is indoors with outdoor settings for recess and filed trip activities. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate (20-60 dB). Exceptions include gymnasiums as well as vocational/technical laboratories where the noise levels may be moderate to loud (60-90 dB).
