YOU WILL BE:
The Product Supervisor is the engine behind initiating product movement through the digital item lifecycle. You will be the liaison with vendors, merchants, studio and digital partners, and will be responsible for ensuring publication of items to Saks.com. The Product Supervisor is supported by the Sample Assistant in setting up, styling and pushing items physically through the photo studio and systemically through the digital item lifecycle. You will report to the Sample Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Manage all products for assigned area of business purchased for Saks.com
Coordinate master turn-in calendar by working with buying offices and photo studio
Communicate with vendors and buying office to prepare shoots and work with buying offices and vendors to creatively style sets
Prepare materials for daily / weekly turn-in and present to the studio
Work with Manager, Buyers, Merchandising Assistants, Item Setup Associates and Sample Assistants to ensure and accurate publication of products (item copy and image accuracy, classification and publication dates)
Partner with Merchandising Assistants to coordinate PO upload
Partner with the Buyers to exceed our goals
Work with Sample Assistants to ensure sample tracking through the turn-in process (i.e. track the whereabouts of physical samples, copy attributes and VPIs)
Work within PIM and Box.com to ensure correct publication of all items turned in
Work with vendors to ensure all merchandise is shot and copy attributes are complete, 8 weeks before go live date (launch date, pre-order date, start ship date)
Maintain Master Sample Tracking Sheet for each product purchased for Saks.com by fashion season
Maintain and setup all items in product management system
Complete the turn-in styling instruction sheets for the photo studio by partnering with the buying office and vendor
Work with partners to ensure publication of products
Manage the master turn-in calendar by working in partnership with the Manager and buying offices.
Manage the flow of samples and turn-in schedule to minimize peaks and valleys.
Support the Manager & Director on all Sample Management special projects (European Shoots, VPI, time studies, physical inventory)
Provide daily status reports on the workflow summary report and project progress updates to the Manager / Director
Ad-hoc projects and data entry
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
3+ years of experience working with vendors on sample and copy data acquisition
Understanding the importance of relationship management
Experience with product and with always exceeding internal and external customer expectations

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:
The starting salary for this position is between $50,000-65,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
