Position Summary
The Senior Finance Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial health of the Stars organization. This role involves managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, ROI analysis, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep financial expertise, and the ability to influence strategic decisions across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and/or support the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendation to Stars leadership.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Mentor and guide team members on financial best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Monitor monthly expenses, investments, and risk to ensure financial stability.
Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to Stars leadership
Drive process improvements and automation to streamline financial operations.
Support ad-hoc request for financial information, internal reporting and other projects, as needed.
Provide mentorship to colleagues and team culture development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CMA, or CFA listed as preferred credentials.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
