POSITION: REGISTRAR ~ UINTAH MIDDLE SCHOOL
(Full-Time, Contract Position with Benefits)

• Pre-Registration procedures;
• Converting records to digital files;
• Answer telephones;
• Register new students, request records, compile and maintain cumulative records, data entry;
• Copy and send requested records to individuals and universities;
• Coordinate student withdrawal and transfers;
• Verify graduates and graduation clearance, including early graduates;
• Assists counselors, faculty and administration;
• Keep enrollment current;
• Have an understanding of the Student Information System (Aspire);
• Print mid-terms and report cards;
• Coordinate students with Adult Ed, Night School, etc.
• Prepare course description catalog;
• Maintain permanent records according to GRAMA and FERPA laws;
• Verify academic records;
• Entry of Master Schedule on Aspire as prepared by administration;
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

• High School Diploma;
• College or business training preferred;
• Working knowledge of computers and basic software programs including word processing and spreadsheets;
• Basic telephone and public relations skills;
• 50 WPM Type speed;
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor (does not have to be a current supervisor), which address candidate’s skills at working effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members.
