  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 

  2. Assists Director and Associate Director in planning, directing, and supervising all technical/clerical aspects of section assigned in regard to services, programs, and evaluations of such programs.

  3. Assists Director and Associate Director in assuring the department maintains compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory agencies.

  4. Responsible for maintaining accreditation within the ultrasound department.

  5. Responsible for patient care, supplies, equipment maintenance, and API payroll in the ultrasound department.

  6. Provides high quality imaging to the radiologists.

  7. Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.

  8. Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.

  9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications /Training:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as ultrasound technologist

 

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • Credentialed in Ultrasound and registered in one of the following areas:

           1.  Registered diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from ARRT (American Registry of Medical Sonography)

           2.  Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) from ARDMS (American Registry of diagnostic Medical Sonography)

           3.  Registered Vascular sonographer (RVS) form CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)

           4.  Registered Sonography (RT(S)) or (RT(VS)) from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)

  • BLS Certification Required
