SCADD is currently seeking a compassionate Part Time (20 Hour, 10pm to 8am) Registered Nurse! Schedule: Sunday (8am - 12pm), and Monday and Tuesday 8am - 4pm. 

Compensation: $42.55/hour (Generous shift differential and weekend premiums!)

We currently have an exceptional career opportunity at our Medically Enhanced Recovery House for a Part Time 20 hours per week Registered Nurse to join our team in New London, CT. New London CT Recovery Program. This program is a low Intensity, Residential Treatment facility! This innovative model combines the safety of individuals who have medical needs that require on-site nursing support with the supportive environment of recovery housing, representing a bold new step in our strategic vision to expand integrated care and recovery support, expanding our continuum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform initial nursing assessments of clients and document ongoing assessments of clients that are response to treatment. 
  • Perform admissions of clients. 
  • Develop, implement, record, and evaluate nursing care plans according to age and specific needs of clients.   
  • Participate in or supervise the nursing care of clients, providing direct physical care measures as needed. 
  • Act as a primary nurse working with individual clients and coordinating their treatment. 
  • Execute the medical regimen of care as prescribed by the physician. 
  • Educate the client and family toward an understanding of health and illness and the plans for post-discharge care. 
  • Respond to medical and psychiatric emergency needs of clients.

 Job Requirements:

  • Current License in the State of Connecticut - Department of Public Health Registered Nurse (RN) 
  • CPR certification.
