PrettyLitter is seeking an exceptional, dedicated, and forward-thinking People & Organization (P&O) Business Partner who will bring their prior experience to support our growing PrettyLitter team. This hands-on role takes ownership of HR processes, employee development, and talent acquisition. Working closely with the executive team, this role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day people operations, executing all company HR needs, and facilitating our integration into our parent company (Mars) where and when it makes sense. We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented leader with a high EQ and a deep understanding of all things human resources.
What are we looking for?
Must have at least 8-10 years of HR experience in a startup environment
Hands-on experience with HR administration, org planning, benefit programs, employee development, and federal and state employment regulations
Exceptional computer literacy and knowledge of the latest HR software tools and technologies
Ability to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High level of discretion with sensitive information
Desire to constantly learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and project management skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field of study
What will be your key responsibilities?
Strategic Partnering
Drive business results through targeted people strategies, workforce planning, and change management
Provide expert advice and coaching on leadership, people management, and change leadership while balancing team culture
Leverage external insights, internal data, and organizational knowledge to proactively shape our People strategy
Own the integration into our parent company where and when it makes sense
Ensure the associate voice is captured and integrated into people strategies through regular feedback mechanisms.
Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Organizational Design
Own the end-to-end talent planning process, including succession planning, performance review cycles, and development cycles
Manage performance review cycle in CultureAmp
Lead the recruiting process, including developing job descriptions, posting roles, reviewing resumes, calibrating candidates with Hiring Managers, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating subsequent interviews OR working with Talent Acquisition or external recruiters to do the same
Advise Managers when performance issues arise
Map critical and core organizational capabilities to align structure with business strategy.
Develop and execute comprehensive organizational change plans to enhance effectiveness and agility.
Culture, Engagement, & Change Management
Run engagement Survey and develop action plans
Keep our remote team connected
Build meaningful relationships across the organization and represent PrettyLitter as an employer
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a thriving and inclusive workplace.
Leverage data and people analytics to monitor and drive engagement, inclusion, and culture outcomes.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee’s work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee’s work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
