Description
We’re looking for a compassionate and detail-driven Clinical Research Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you’ll bridge the worlds of patient care and clinical research—supporting participants through nutrition guidance while contributing to studies that advance healthcare. You’ll be a trusted resource for patients, a collaborative partner for investigators, and a key contributor to research that has the potential to improve lives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support Research Studies
- Partner with investigators to design and manage nutrition-related aspects of clinical research protocols.
2. Work directly with Participants
- Provide nutrition counseling, education, and encouragement to patients, helping them stay engaged and compliant with study requirements.
3. Ensure Protocol Integrity
- Track and monitor dietary intake to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to ethical research standards.
4. Contribute to Science
- Collect and analyze nutrition data, and support study reports, publications, and presentations.
5. Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, coordinators, and scientists to ensure studies run smoothly and participants feel supported.
6. Stay Current
- Bring fresh insight from evidence-based research and evolving nutrition science into practice and lifestyle counseling
7. Review and analyze data obtained during the participant trial (lab results, CGM data, Vitals, food intake diaries, anthropometric measurements, etc. to support nutritional and lifestyle counseling within the confines of the protocol.
8. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, depending on study needs
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education:
- RD/RDN required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Experience:
- Clinical or research background (academic, hospital, or trial setting) is strongly preferred.
Credentials:
- N/A
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with research protocols, dietary assessment methods, and GCP standards
- Strong communicator with the ability to connect with patients and translate science into practical nutrition guidance.
- Empathetic, detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to both patient care and the bigger picture of advancing science.
