Coffee Shop Assistant Manager
Location: Oxon Hill, MD - National Harbor

About the Role:
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who’s passionate about coffee, customer service, and leading a great team. The Assistant Manager will help oversee daily café operations, ensure consistent product quality, and create a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Manager in daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory, and cash handling
Lead by example to maintain high service and cleanliness standards
Train, motivate, and coach team members
Monitor product quality, presentation, and consistency
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care
Assist with ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Step into the Manager role as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a café, restaurant, or similar environment (lead or supervisor experience preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of coffee preparation and café operations
Flexible schedule, including weekends and early mornings
