Summary:

Sonitrol of Louisville has been a leader in the security industry for over 50 years. Due to our continued growth, we have a position for a Security System Installer with a positive attitude and direct industry experience. We’re looking for full-time employees, working from 7:30-4:30 M-F, installing security systems.
We provide commercial solutions for access control, fire, CCTV, and intrusion systems. No security industry experience is necessary, but candidates must have the ability to work with power tools, work on a ladder/lift, and be good with their hands.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour doe

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 years' Experience with power hand tools and working from a ladder/lift or low voltage experience.

• Ability to run wire and hang devices in a commercial environment

• Must have strong work ethic and be able to be at work on time

• Have valid driver’s license

• Participate in service on-call rotation with other technicians

• Be flexible to weekend/2nd shift work and occasional out-of-town installs

• Be able to follow directions and work independently and in a team setting

• Strong computer skills with the ability to work on client networks

Education/Qualification:

• A high school education or equivalent required.

• Some technical school training is a plus.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.

• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Maybe required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Must be able to walk and stand.

• Comfortable reaching, climbing (ladder/stairs) and bending.

• Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
