SUMMARY

Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking a full-time Reporting Analyst for our Torrance HQ office. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of new software applications on a variety of platforms. It’s an exciting time to join, with extensive opportunities to learn and grow!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the IT team and business stakeholders on the full lifecycle of multiple high-profile projects.
  • Work in Power BI and front-end data management of the data platform
  • Analyze and document business requirements.
  • Estimate deliverables and provide updates on progress towards those deliverables.
  • Document requirements, use cases, data models, systems interfaces, wireframes, and related Analyst deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business customers, IT colleagues, and software vendors.
  • Analyze and compare alternative solutions and make appropriate recommendations; suggest design solutions per business requirements.
  • Create and share a Functional Specification mapping to Business Requirements.
  • Prepare functional specification documents.
  • Test case planning and test execution of new solutions in line with functional requirements.   
  • Develop scripts and processes to assist in these objectives.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI or other dashboarding tools such as Tableau
  • Knowledge of data platforms such as Keboola, Azure Data Factory, or Fivetran
  • Knowledge of data warehouses such as Snowflake or Google BigQuery
  • Ability to read and modify SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
  • Ability to work on projects concurrently
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.

The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
