Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a motivated and committer Plant Quality Manager to lead the quality department for the manufacturing operations in Oregon, OH - in the Toledo Metropolitan area.
The ideal candidate will have previous Tier One Automotive Manufacturing Experience. This is a hands-on, involved managerial and leadership role for someone looking for an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the new manufacturing operations and quality of acoustic parts for major OEMs.
The Plant Quality Manager in the role is responsible to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing automotive production processes. This position ensures quality standards are met during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities of the Plant Quality Manager:
- Leads and works alongside the Quality Department to ensure the completion of the customer quality priorities of the plant that manufactures NVH parts. The team has one quality engineer and various quality auditor technicians.
- Support the customer changes process from start to finish from a quality standpoint. This means quality from program launch, during and after when customers request changes supporting the process all the way to no issues.
- Acts as Customer and Supplier liaison for plant quality activities and concerns.
- Maintains quality documentation, mainly pertaining to PPAP (including but not limited to Control Plans, PFMEAs, PPAP, Process Flows, 8D, IMDS, GR&R, AAR, PSW, etc.) managing the Quality System, and any other IATF 16949 requirements.
- Ensure investigation of root cause determination, corrective action implementation and response to customer complaints in a timely manner. Support continuous improvement through this process.
- Works cross-functionally to support operations team in the parts production process to promote efficient utilization leading to improved OEE.

- Competitive pay and benefits package. The range for the position is $95,000 to $110,000. Specific salary is commensurate with relevant experience and factors such as education, certifications and licenses, skills, and training.
