We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Shop Manager with a strong background in glazing to lead and oversee daily operations in our fabrication and installation shop. This role requires both leadership and technical expertise, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient workflows, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shop operations, scheduling, and team supervision
• Lead, train, and support shop staff in glazing techniques and safety protocols
• Manage inventory, materials, and equipment maintenance
• Coordinate with project managers to meet production and installation deadlines
• Inspect completed work for quality control and adherence to specifications
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and OSHA compliance
• Assist with hands-on fabrication or glazing as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in glazing (residential or commercial)
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in glass/glazing work
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet

Preferred:

• OSHA certification or safety training
• Forklift or equipment operator certification
• Experience with glass cutting, tempering, or custom glass fabrication
• Employee will be required to join Union upon employment
