What does a day in the life of a Staff Education Nurse look like?
The Staff Education Nurse (LPN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the
facility's staff education and training programs. This position ensures that all staff
members receive appropriate orientation, annual, and as-needed education to meet
regulatory requirements and support quality resident care. The Education Nurse will
lead Day Two of new employee orientation each Tuesday and provide ongoing clinical
and non-clinical education to nursing and ancillary staff.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A STAFF EDUCATION Nurse:
Part-time 24 hours per week. (Flexible depending on facility needs) 7:00 am to 3:30 pm;
3:00 pm to 11:30 pm; 11:00pm to 7:30am, and other hours as volunteered or required.

needs of the healthcare facility.
Requirements: The Staff Education Coordinator must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
