The Sales Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and analytical support to the Sales Administrative Department. This role ensures the accurate maintenance of pricing data, metal index tracking, and customer and part master records, while supporting sales-related ERP functions, reporting, and forecasting.
Working closely with the sales, finance, operations, and quotation teams, the Sales Coordinator enables the efficient execution of sales initiatives, maintains data integrity, and ensures alignment with pricing strategies. The Sales Coordinator also analyzes sales trends and provides insights to the Sales Administration Manager to support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasting. This role enforces quoting support for new projects, manages system updates, and tracks key sales and commercial metrics, supporting both daily operations and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update pricing databases and customer/part master data in Odyssey
- Process customer pricing updates and coordinate communication across departments
- Track and trend all metal indexes, and monitor pounds consumption by alloy and plant
- Perform internal pricing audits to ensure system accuracy and compliance
- Support ERP tasks including price overrides, report generation, and part/customer setup
- Provide ERP system training and support for internal sales and plant teams
- Manage pricing activities such as new part setup, cost downs, price changes, increases, and rebates
- Track tooling warranties and coordinate replacement and ordering of new tooling
- Analyze sales trends and deliver insights to support AOP and forecast planning
- Assist in the coordination and execution of the Annual Operating Plan and reforecasting cycles
- Generate monthly and quarterly sales reports comparing performance against AOP and forecasts
- Reconcile metal consumption and surcharges with pricing to ensure accurate cost application
- Prepare and support sales data presentations for internal reviews and leadership updates
- Track all awarded business and manage timelines for SOP (Start of Production) and EOL (End of Life) milestones
- Support the quotation manager and sales team by providing accurate pricing data for quoting
- Enforce quoting procedures for new projects and maintain oversight of quoting accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and procurement to align on pricing, forecasts, and data requirements
- Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries related to pricing, setup, and reporting
- Ensure timely, accurate communication and data flow across departments to support strategic goals
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in sales coordination, pricing, or data analysis roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (preferably Odyssey)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable findings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
