Our Cardiopulmonary department is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Sleep Technician (Nights) to join our talented group of therapists and techs. As the Sleep Technician, you will coordinate and schedule a variety of sleep related tests. Perform patient set-ups and complete reporting for home sleep tests, actigraphy testing, and multiple sleep latency examinations. You will also review overnight polysomnography for staging and scoring accuracy under the direction and guidance of the Director Outpatient Services.
Salary Range: $31.84 - $44.07

What You’ll Do
- Patient Care - Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others. Ability to recognize symptoms, drug properties, interactions, treatments, and preventative health-care measures within the scope of practice.
- Communication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and discuss quality issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
- Time Management - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to completion within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Conflict Resolution - Ability to proactively resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner. Possess the knowledge and skills to handle complaints, settle disputes and negotiate with others to reach a mutually beneficial decision.
- Social Perceptiveness - Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
- Medical Terminology – Knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology. Ability to read, interpret and apply policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Currently enrolled or graduate of an A-Step Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program
- Maintain Basic Life Support certification
- Current Polysomnographic Technologist Licensure issued by the Oregon Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic Technologist Licensing Board of the Oregon Health Authority
