QA/QI/Compliance Manager
Summary
Works on projects ranging from objective reviews and system design/development to detailed operational and financial reviews, as well as strategic planning. Also designs collects and prepares quality assurance data for interpretation to ensure optimal system performance and quality care to patients by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead patient care reporting training programs.
- Cooperates with department heads to resolve ePCR QA problems and facilitates processes that meet their needs.
- Participates in Quality Improvement activities including audits, peer review and data collection activities.
- Reviews quality assurance standards, studies existing policies and procedures, and interviews specific individuals to evaluate the effectiveness of the ePCR quality improvement program.
- Contributes to the development and revision of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Reviews and evaluates patient care records daily.
- Selects specific topics for review such as problem procedures, high volume cases, high risk cases, or other factors.
- Compiles statistical data and summarizes quality assurance finding

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year College or University; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
