The Program Supervisor will be a key member of CityTeam in the Neighborhood. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating food donations and pickups. You will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and schedule volunteers. It is essential that the Program Supervisor is comfortable working with people from different cultures and socio-economic and educational background. We work in a fast-pace, highly unpredictable environment. The Program Supervisor will take the lead in securing food from different agencies for the distribution sites and develop the teams that will be responsible for the distribution. Part of your customer service focus will involve making sure our neighborhood partners and volunteers are well trained, distribution logistics are communicated clearly, and data collection is done correctly. The Program Supervisor will provide administrative and tactical support to our CityTeam in the Neighborhood Team. This includes but is not limited to instructing and assisting the Food Pantry Driver and Coordinator, Driver, and volunteers in the planning, packing, moving, distributing, and tracking of food and other resources. This position will demand flexibility and grace, as you will constantly deal with surprises and unexpected twists that are out of your control.  Our ideal candidate will have experience in project management and the desire to press into the social services aspects of a holistic program that meets immediate needs and creates lasting impact.


The Program Supervisor is a full-time non-exempt position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain a safe, orderly and efficient environment.

2. Oversee the driving schedule and coordinate all food drop offs and pick ups

3. Manage and supervise the Mobile Food Pantry Coordinator and Driver and the Food Pantry Driver

4. Perform in a leadership role for Client Special Events

5. Responsible for general oversight of CityTeam vehicles (i.e. gas, safety checks, paperwork, and maintenance.

6. Compile and complete all stats paperwork for food program

7. Complete any required paperwork to receive food from different agencies

8. Report and submit any concerns regarding Mobile Food Pantry and incidents with HR

9. Provide direct oversight for launch of the Mobile Food Pantries

10. Request volunteer opportunities for all outreach activities

11. Submit all purchase orders and invoices on a weekly basis

12. Receive donations and drop offs personally or arrange for another designated person to receive them

13. Provide a hospitable, service-oriented environment, modeling a positive example and tone will all staff and volunteers

14. Work with Support Services to ensure paperwork is completed in a timely manner.

15. Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping and provide reports as necessary.

16. Quickly evaluate a crisis situation and respond appropriately.

17. Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and intelligently delegate.

18. Maintain an environment that is conducive to building trust and unity as well as high motivation and achievement while maintaining healthy boundaries.

19. Advocate for CityTeam with those in your circles of influence.

20. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Administrative experience

? Minimum 2-years’ experience working in homeless services

? Computer literate and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and G-Suite

? Professional written and spoken communication skills

? Valid PA driver’s license with a clean record


Preferred Education and Experience

? ServSafe certification

? Customer service experience

? Familiarity with CityTeam’s mission and core values

? Experience working in a non-profit environment


Physical Demands

? Stand or sit for prolonged amounts of time

? Walk, bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

? Regularly walk up and down stairs

? Talk and hear

? Frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds

? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Conditions

? This job regularly operates in a warehouse environment that could be cold, hot, and drafty

?  Workdays are typically Monday through Friday, some weekends and evening hours

will be necessary occasionally. 

? This role regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

? This role will occasionally need to maneuver in tight quarters amongst donations, rolling racks, shelving, storage containers, stacked boxes, and a conveyer belt


Additional Eligibility Qualifications for CityTeam Ministries

? Must have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ

? Must be active in a local Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with other Christ-followers

? Must have compatible theology on major issues of CityTeam's Statement of Faith

? Must be committed to serving God and the body of Christ
