Job Summary:
The Facilities Technician/Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and picking up production and common areas. This position will be required to perform cleaning as well as general maintenance and pick up of all common areas and production areas as assigned.
- 3rd shift. Sun - Wed 7:30 pm - 6:00 am
- The base hourly rate for this role is $18.00.
Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain common areas such as restrooms, break rooms, outside areas, and office areas.
Maintain inventories and supplies for cleaning and maintenance of common areas
Maintain a clean and professional area for employees and visitors.
Review and note any issues with contract cleaning services.
Review dumpster area and schedule additional dumpster pickups if needed.
Maintain a clean work area as required
Report workplace hazards associated with equipment being used, workplace injuries and/or illness and workplace near miss incidents immediately to direct supervisor
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
The ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
The ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
Other tasks as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in factory environment
Must know and follow general safety practices
Ability to operate company vehicles and maintain a valid drivers license
Knowledge and ability to use appropriate tools related to the task
