We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Edmond, WA (98026)
A loving family in Edmonds (near Seaview Elementary School) is seeking a nurturing and experienced caregiver for their 4-month-old daughter. Mom is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in three weeks, so they’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and provide consistent, ongoing care.
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing (long-term)
- Days: Monday – Friday (flexible scheduling)
- Hours: Minimum 4 hours / Maximum 7 hours per day. Typically between 8–9 a.m. and 3–4 p.m.
- Guaranteed minimum 20 hours per week
- Potential for future full time care needed
- Rate: $30 per hour
- Paid holidays (during regularly scheduled workday)
1 child: 4 months old, girl
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for an infant (4 months old)
- Follow the family’s established schedule (feeding, nap, and playtime routines)
- Support baby’s development and milestones through age-appropriate play and interaction
- Assist in the transition to solids when the family begins introducing them
- Handle bottle feeding and maintain feeding logs as needed
- Administer reflux medication as instructed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates and baby’s progress
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience caring for infants
- Current Infant CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass background, social media, and reference checks
- Non-smoker
- Experience supporting feeding routines and transitions
- Reliable transportation (driving not required but recommended for emergencies)
- Comfortable with pets (friendly golden retriever in the home)
- English fluency required; Spanish fluency preferred but not required
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $30 per hour. The family is offering a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to full-time hours in the near future.
