Position Duties
JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Management Analyst is responsible for supporting group and corporate strategic and tactical initiatives through analysis and subsequent recommendations to executive management. The position is responsible for data management, identification, and resolution of issues which directly affect the success of principal program goals and objectives. In addition, this position will provide direct support with special projects for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer. This is accomplished by the application of critical thinking processes, advanced analytical techniques, and proper management of programs, personnel, budget and other associated resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Forecasts, allocates, and monitors the human, physical and financial resources for the assigned area, including budget preparation and review of variances.
- Conducts research and analyzes methods, processes, company procedures, department operations, and technologies and their possible impact to the organization. Performs SWOT analyses on large program initiatives to determine feasibility/cost benefit.
- Participates in selection committee meetings to review RFP and RFCSP bids and proposals.
- Generates and submits written communication proposing the start of RFP and RFCSP contract negotiations for the CEO to review and approve.
- Assists the department of Continuous Improvement and Innovation with the score card process for the CEO.
- Completes special projects as assigned by the Office of the CEO.
- Develops and coordinates benchmarking and performance measurements to analyze and improve group's overall efficiency.
- Utilizes financial and non-financial metrics to quantify objectives to reflect the overall performance of the group.
- Develops and validates reports, studies, research, questionnaires, correspondence, and other documentation relating to operational activities and strategies.
- Recommends continuous and incremental process improvement with a focus on customer satisfaction, to include removing unnecessary activities and variations.
- Participates in complex planning efforts such as Master Plans, Strategic Plans and Annual Business Plans.
- Manages and communicates sensitive and confidential information, including ethics matters to the Chief Legal and Ethics Officer, Ethics Steering Committee, and Executive Management Team as necessary.
- Advises the Chief Legal and Ethics Officer on high profile, political and business issues, and their possible impact to the organization.
- Prepares and delivers presentations to the Board of Trustees, executive management, the general public and/or governmental and community agencies.
- Analyzes current and proposed legislation and assesses the impact to the organization.
- May supervise, select, develop, and evaluate employee performance, as assigned.
- Represents the Chief Legal and Ethics Officer as needed at internal and external business meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
DECISION MAKING
- This position receives limited supervision.
- Provides leadership and functional guidance to other employees.
- May supervise 1-3 employees.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
- Five years' experience performing management and business analysis tasks, conducting research, preparing and delivering presentations and reports, coordinating multiple and complex activities.
- Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, financial, and research software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years' supervisory experience for departments where position exercises full supervision of staff.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
- Experience utilizing Project Management Institute standards and processes.
- Experience utilizing Six Sigma process management or implementation of macro processes including, but not limited to: internal and external communication, conversions, processing start up and initial documentation, and servicing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are primarily in an office environment and performs occasional field visits.
May be required to work hours other than regular schedule such as evenings and weekends.
