Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of full-time, paid, professional which has included coordinating programs, working with academic supports in urban schools and managing external community based resources.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
o the principles and current practices in the press management of multiple entities. o the methods and techniques utilized in news dissemination and identifying positive and negative news.
o organizing press events, adhering to timelines and teamwork.
o the principles of research.
o the structure for briefing memos.
Demonstrated ability to:
