Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting students with diverse learning needs across our collaborative programs. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help students develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct occupational therapy services in school-based settings.
Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress.
Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings.
Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ functional independence.
Adapt school environments and materials to meet students’ physical and sensory needs.
Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
School-based environments across Cape Cod Collaborative programs.
May require physical activity and lifting to support student mobility.
