At Marceco we are in the business of connecting consumers to their universe through our Boost Mobile retailers and dealers. As the 2nd largest Direct Distribution Partner for Dish Wireless (which owns Boost Mobile), we have over 2,000 Boost dealer locations across the United States.
Marceco is currently looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Team, in Los Angeles, California.
Our corporate office is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan where we have most of our positions that support our field teams. We also have field sales and account roles across the US that work directly with our Boost retailers. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving overall revenue for the company by selling our products and services, managing assigned accounts in a defined region as well as recruiting for new customers, partnerships with the Boost Mobile field team and ensuring the sales and performance expectations are communicated and met by retail locations.
Essential Responsibilities:

Remains current on all sales processes, products, services, promotions, as available through the sales portal while adhering to company policies and procedures; ensures dealers are current on all sales processes, products, services, promotions, as available through the sales portal, as well.

Consults with dealer partners regarding financial results, hiring, staffing, marketing, store operations, and shares best practices.

Analyzes business reports for trends and communicates findings to dealer partners to develop effective business plans.

Serves as a liaison between the store and Marceco to identify and resolve issues; including but not limited to finance, ePay, and inventory.

Develops sales and training objectives for each dealer partner to build and achieve sales goals.

Mentors and develops sales associates to ensure consistency and effectiveness of promotions initiated by Boost; effectiveness measured through observation and sales metrics.

Participates in on-going compliance projects; including but not limited to merchandising, accessory, authorized third-party services, and retail visitation requirements. Also adheres to internal monthly compliance requirements.

Recruits and develops new retail partners within defined region, prospect for viable real estate for retail partners.

Meets growth expectations for their assigned accounts, consisting of acquisitions and opening new retail locations.

Plans and participates in events to create awareness within the community and drive traffic to retail locations; emphasis on increasing the customer base.

Creates brand awareness and visibility of Marceco field support at retail locations via social media; encourages retail partners to establish a social media presence to showcase retail efforts.

Analyzes sales metrics; assists with creation of strategy to drive the necessary behaviors during the sales process to increase customer retention; including, but not limited to, offering higher-quality products and services.

Communicates effectively and with urgency; responds to email and phone communications in a timely manner.

Introduce and promote new Products and Services as they are made available to drive additional revenue.
Non-Essential Responsibilities:

Services accounts in other regions as a backup to Account Managers that may be unavailable, on as needed basis.

Recruits retail partners and prospect for viable real estate in other defined regions in partnership with other Account Managers, on an as needed basis.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Cell Phone Industry.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales and account management.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in customer service.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in retail, preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office suite of products and Google Docs.
- Strong overall knowledge of the technology, telecommunications, or electronics industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, understandable, and professional manner.
- Collaborative, with gentle yet effective negotiating skills. As an advisor, helps teams to understand compliance requirements, identify risks, and how to best mitigate those risks.
- Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work for self and team.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers and use active listening skills.
