About This Role

This Software Engineering role is within Textron System’s Land Systems division working with manned and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for defense applications. The strong candidate will possess a solid knowledge base in software development and design best practices.

• Providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity on both current and next generation technologies in support of our family of Ground Vehicle product.
• Participating in software development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab and offsite integration and evaluation
• Performing software development at component, subsystem and system level including embedded control systems and sensor/operator interface development
• Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and product.
• Leadership and individual contributor growth roles are available
• Providing offsite integration and test support
• Other related duties as assigned
