The Role:

Your primary focus will be partnering with cross-functional teams to create, develop, and implement equipment improvements to optimize production output. The Mechatronics Engineer will work as a technical resource for Production and Operational leadership to investigate problems, analyze root causes, and drive solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.

Strategic Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate manufacturing requirements and develop a plan consistent with customer and product line objectives within project timing.
- Led the vision for all systems and the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and other engineering.
- Support manufacturing in troubleshooting issues during the first article builds and integration into existing products.
- Spearhead all projects to enhance and upgrade our machinery, meticulously documenting all activities to ensure seamless maintenance and future improvements.
- Take the lead in machine installation and relocation activities, leveraging your instrumentation and control expertise to streamline the process.
- Stay abreast of the latest robotic controls and pendants advancements, leveraging this knowledge to optimize our automation processes.

- Self-motivated, creative thinker with a strong desire to learn and the ability to work independently on multiple competing priorities with moderate supervision
- Good foresight and detail-orientated
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively across all teams, as well as with suppliers and vendors
- Ability to learn and grow technical skills with application, system, and service technologies as they evolve over time
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Technical two-year degree with equivalent work experience may be considered.)
- Additional specialization in closely related areas such as robotics, sensor applications, or other fields
- Experience/demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skill, including presenting results based on supported statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities.
- Provide safety leadership for the area, including routine inspections, and address issues quickly.
