Position Summary
We are seeking an Operational Manager to play a key role in strengthening and optimizing the way our hospital functions every day. In this role, you will drive efficiency, champion innovation, and ensure that our teams have the tools and resources they need to succeed. While this position does not involve direct patient care, your impact will be felt across the organization by supporting those who do.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with MVH’s goals and mission.

Partner with senior leadership to set targets, track progress, and celebrate achievements.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and increase efficiency.

Analyze current operations and implement enhancements that drive productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Allocate and manage resources—including people, equipment, and materials—to ensure optimal utilization.

Establish clear performance metrics and monitor progress using KPIs.

Uphold quality standards through audits, compliance checks, and proactive improvements.

Oversee procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes.

Assess and mitigate operational risks with effective controls and strategies.

Prepare regular reports highlighting performance, trends, and project updates.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Operations Management required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Operational Management Experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, process improvement methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency in using operational software, project management tools, and data analysis software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
