The Network Engineer plays a key role in maintaining and advancing the company’s enterprise network infrastructure. This position focuses on the design, implementation, and support of Cisco switching and routing environments and Fortinet firewall systems that connect and secure all corporate locations. The Network Engineer ensures network reliability, scalability, and security to support critical business operations and user productivity.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 5 or more years of experience in enterprise network engineering and support.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco switching and routing in large corporate environments.
General Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), including VPNs and security policy configuration is preferred.
- CCNP, Fortinet NSE certifications, or equivalent advanced credentials
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with a strong focus on reliability and service quality.
- Must maintain confidential records and data
- Must provide superior customer service
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have an acceptable driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
