Position Summary
Greater Vision Healthcare Services is seeking a results-driven, action-oriented Director of Nursing/Administrator to oversee daily operations of our licensed home health agency. This individual will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for executing the organization’s strategic vision through effective leadership, operational excellence, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings structure to complex operations, and ensures that the agency’s mission and goals are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all clinical and administrative operations with precision and accountability.
- Execute strategic plans and operational objectives set forth by the CEO and executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and AHCA regulations and maintain agency readiness for audits and surveys.
- Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing and support staff, providing clear direction and ongoing development.
- Oversee patient care delivery, case management, and documentation accuracy (including OASIS).
- Manage agency budgets, staffing plans, and operational costs to meet productivity and financial goals.
- Collaborate with referral sources, hospitals, and physicians to sustain and grow the agency’s client base.
- Drive accountability, ensure consistent follow-through, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and staff performance.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (required).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a licensed home health agency.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and AHCA regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, lead teams, and implement executive-level directives.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills.
- Action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and accountability.

Reporting Relationship
