Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
- Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service) to resolve billing issues.
- Prepare regular aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
