Job Summary
Opportunity for a seasoned fixed income trader with deep expertise in African and Emerging Markets Eurobonds to Head Eurobond trading desk? Will be responsible for executing and managing Eurobond trading activities, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards. This is a critical leadership role requiring strategic vision, market insight, and strong collaboration across teams.Suited to an individual with a min of 10 years fixed income trading, with a focus on Emerging Markets/African credit. Advanced bond pricing, credit analytics, risk management, and client engagement capability essential. Must have the requisite right to work in the UK.
Job Description
Develop and execute dynamic trading strategies for African and Emerging Market Eurobonds.
Translate macroeconomic and geopolitical signals into actionable trading positions.
Provide competitive bid/offer pricing and market-making services.
Manage intraday and overnight risk exposure, ensuring tight control over capital and liquidity.
Collaborate with sales, structuring, research, and syndicate teams to align market views.
Ensure rigorous compliance with FCA/PRA, MiFID II, and internal policies.
