Early Years Practitioner
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Salary: Up to £26,499 per annum
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Part Time – 24 hours per week
Closing Date: Midnight on the 7th of November 2025

A day in the life of an Early Years Practitioner
Are you happiest when you are knee-deep in glitter, singing your heart out at circle time, or planting sunflowers in the garden with a group of curious little minds? Then you are exactly who we are looking for.
As an Early Years Practitioner (level3) at Spring Leiston, you’ll play a key role in helping children aged 3 months to 5 years learn, laugh and thrive. You’ll plan and deliver imaginative, play-based activities that spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence, all while following the EYFS framework.
You’ll observe and celebrate each child’s progress, keeping records that tell the story of their unique learning journey. You’ll build warm, trusting relationships with children, families and your teammates is at the heart of what we do. Together we create a safe, nurturing environment where every child (and grownup) feels valued, supported and inspired.

Our 49- place nursery is a vibrant, welcoming space where discovery happens every day. With 3 home-from-home base rooms, we’ve created an environment that feels cosy as it is creative.
From cooking and gardening to dancing, messy play, and make-believe, we believe learning should be joyful. Our team is passionate about helping every child explore the world at their own pace and ensuring staff enjoy the journey just as much.

What we need from you
In the role of Early Years Practitioner (Level 3), we're ideally looking for someone who has:
- A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- A passion for continuous learning and growth, aligned with our core values and the Spring career pathway
- A deep understanding of children's development needs (0 to 5 years)
- A positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
