As part of the LOCALiQ sales team, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver cost-effective, advertising and marketing campaigns that drive real results. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering tailored multimedia strategies that help our clients stand out in a competitive market.
You’ll need access to a vehicle and hold a full UK driving licence, as travel across the region is essential to the role.
LOCALiQ supports motor businesses with a full suite of services including Display advertising, SEO, PPC, paid social, video production, and web design. Our exclusive partnerships with Google, Facebook, and Bing, combined with our network of over 200 news brands, give our clients unmatched visibility and reach. Whether it’s helping a dealership boost online leads or supporting a garage with local SEO, you’ll be the trusted advisor guiding them to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory management across the Midlands, building strong relationships with motor trade businesses and identifying new opportunities
- Drive multimedia marketing spend through consultative selling, focusing on digital-first solutions
- Understand the unique needs of each motor business through effective questioning and research, creating urgency and tailored solutions
- Lead with creativity, crafting campaigns that help motor businesses stand out in a competitive market
- Confidently present LOCALiQ’s portfolio of digital and print solutions, matching them to client goals
- Build long-term relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth
- Use tools such as Campaign Centre to translate data into actionable insights for your clients
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Consultants to identify and grow digital marketing services spend
- Attend and complete all relevant training workshops and self-learn consistently via AcademyiQ
- Support Sales Managers and Directors with digital revenue opportunities that align with centre strategy
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the motor trade or automotive sector
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and multimedia advertising
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Ability to self-generate leads and manage a sales pipeline
- Comfortable working independently across a defined territory
- Commercially savvy with a knack for spotting growth opportunities
- Confident using data to inform decisions and demonstrate return on investment to clients
- A natural relationship builder with a consultative approach to sales
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
